As the first in his family to go to college, Mike is proud that he graduated with honors from Rowan University. After graduating, Mike began his efforts to help those in need by becoming a high school history teacher where he grew up in southern New Jersey. After three years of teaching, he followed his passion to law school ultimately graduating from Drexel University’s Kline School of Law with honors.
As a former college football player, Mike’s love of competition has resulted in a number of legal accolades including the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association’s decision to present Mike with the James J. Manderino Award for Trial Advocacy along with the independent Super Lawyer magazine’s decision to name Mike to the Pennsylvania “Rising Stars” list every year since 2023. The “Rising Stars” distinction is a nationally recognized award exclusively presented to the top 2.5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania. While these awards are appreciated, Mike’s most treasured professional achievement is the success he earns on behalf of his clients.
Throughout his legal career, Mike has forced insurance companies to pay his clients tens of millions in wrongfully denied life insurance benefits. These successes include multiple million-dollar recoveries in addition to successful litigation earned while battling billion-dollar law firms funded by billion-dollar insurance companies.
As an attorney, Mike is admitted to practice before the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Texas, along with the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey, the Eastern District of Michigan, the Northern District of Ohio, the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the District of Nebraska, and the Eastern District of Texas. Further, Mike has been granted permission to appear in life insurance cases in federal courts ranging from Florida to New Mexico with plans to appear before every federal court in the country.
Finally, Mike will continue using his life insurance litigation skills to ensure that every one of his clients receives the justice they deserve.
