As the first in his family to attend college, Mike takes great pride in graduating with honors from Rowan University. After college, Mike became a high school history teacher in the same southern New Jersey community where he grew up. After three years in the classroom, Mike followed his long-standing passion for advocacy and enrolled in Drexel University’s Kline School of Law, where he graduated with honors.

A former college football player, Mike brings a competitive mindset to his legal practice. His work has earned a number of professional accolades, including the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association’s James J. Manderino Award for Trial Advocacy. He has also been named to Super Lawyers’ Pennsylvania “Rising Stars” list every year since 2023, a nationally recognized distinction awarded to only the top 2.5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania. While these recognitions are appreciated, Mike considers the most meaningful measure of his work to be the results he achieves for his clients.

In his relatively short career, Mike has already forced insurance companies to pay tens of millions of dollars in wrongfully denied life insurance benefits to policyholders and beneficiaries. These victories include multiple seven-figure recoveries as well as successful litigation against billion-dollar insurance companies represented by some of the largest law firms in the country.

Mike’s work has expanded into complex class-action litigation involving systemic life insurance practices. Specifically, in August 2025, Mike and Joseph E. Mattia, Esq., (Boonswang Law) were recognized as certified class counsel appointed to represent a class of approximately 6,000 life insurance policyholders.

Mike is admitted to practice before the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Texas, as well as numerous federal courts across the country, including the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey, the Eastern District of Michigan, the Northern District of Ohio, the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the District of Nebraska, and the Eastern District of Texas. He has also been granted permission to appear in life insurance cases in federal courts across the United States and continues expanding his practice nationwide.

Finally, Mike will continue using his life insurance litigation skills to ensure that every one of his clients receives the justice they deserve.
